YouTube Subscriber Link Hack

This is a very simple hack to encourage visitors to subscribe to your YouTube channel via a popup. When this pop-up shows, it takes the same amount of energy to click subscribe as to does to click away from the popup. While not everyone may subscribe when prompted, making it easier for them will give you a better chance. The less clicks, the better your chances of gaining a subscriber.

To create a link, you simply need to take an existing YouTube URL such as:

http://www.youtube.com/askmikewarner

Now simply add ?sub_confirmation=1 to the end of the URL:

http://www.youtube.com/askmikewarner?sub_confirmation=1

You’ve most likely subscribed to your YouTube channel already, which means if you test the follow URL with ?sub_confirmation=1 included the popup will not show. You can get past this by opening a private tab in your web browser and then entering the URL.

Anywhere you share your link to your YouTube channel, you can use the full URL to grow your followers. Add it to your website, email signature, social media posts and profiles. Every time you share the link to your channel use this new URL instead.

Please note that this only works on computers and does not work on phones/tablets.
