The Power of a Collaboration

Let’s look at what can happen if multiple artists collaborate on a song. In this image above we see the current number of followers and monthly listeners on Spotify. If all four artists are listed as Main Artists (not featured) then this release will be highlighted at the top of their artist profiles. Additionally, it will be included in Spotify’s Release Radar Playlist for fans that follow one or more of the artists.

If we combine the followers the total potential followers reach is 57,266,888

If we combine the monthly listeners the total potential reach is 152,146,551

Keep in mind that there may be some overlap as people may follow and listen to more than one of the four of artitsts involved.

While an extreme example, this shows the power of collaboration. Artists at any level can collaborate with another artists to reach their audience and vice versa.
