Are your releases all showing on one artist profile? As an artist, it’s important that fans can find you and all of your music easily. One of the most welcoming experiences for a fan is to have an artist profile on each streaming platform. The next step is making sure all of your music is showing one your profile (not someone elses) and all on one profile.

Check out this example when searching for Diddy.

Obviously there’s Diddy, P.Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Puff Daddy and The Family, Puffy, Love (let me know if I missed any) but there are clearly two Diddy profiles that could be merged.

Merging duplicate artist profiles and moving songs to the correct artist profile is an easy fix via your distributor.

I always encourage artists and those that work with artists to check on multiple streaming platforms with each new release to make sure fans can easily find it.
